Minister praises User Engagement Strategy

Patricia Reaney from the Beeches Management Centre worked with the EHSSB Stroke Patient and Carer Group to create what was referred to as an insightful report on the experiences of stroke survivors and their carers.  The Group’s report was praised by the Minister for Health, Michael McGimpsey, during the launch event on the 17^th September at The Holiday Inn, Ormeau Avenue.  The Minister indicated that it was a perfect example of effective user engagement and made a commitment to meet with the group again.  In the meantime the BMC has been asked to continue its work with the Group.
