CPD and HPC - Information event

Information Events (27, 28 and 29 October 2008)

The Centre for CPD for Allied Health Professions (Beeches Management Centre) is facilitating a number of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) information events in three venues across Northern Ireland (Belfast, Omagh and Antrim) in October 2008. Over 450 HPC Registered Professionals from all sectors in Northern Ireland have applied to attend this programme.

Mark Potter, CPD Communications Manager, HPC, is providing the presentations at each of the six half day events.

The purpose of the event is to clarify any issues regarding the Health Professions Council Audits, which began in May 2008 and will continue for all those registered with the Health Professions Council.

The sessions concentrate on CPD and the requirements for registrants to maintain their CPD portfolios.  It outlines the support mechanisms available to members and provides tips for the preparation of portfolios.
