Msc Interprofessional Health and Social Studies

The Beeches Management Centre in partnership with Queen's University Belfast School of Medicine and Dentistry is the first in Ireland to offer the new MSc Interprofessional Health and Social Studies that commences on 25th September 2009.

Interprofessional education involves learning with and from other professions to build a mutual respect between the healthcare professions with the aim of improving patient and client care.  The development of this new course meets the needs for promoting and encouraging Interprofessional working within healthcare.

The recruitment for this course requires representation from at least three disciplines within health and social care including medicine, social work, nursing, dentistry, allied health professions, pharmacy, managers, and other corporate and clinical professions.

This Masters course has been specifically designed with practical application to the workplace.  In light of this, many of the assignments are workplace based, therefore requiring approval from the students' employing organisation.  Students applying from your organisation will be part funded through the Service Level Agreement with the Beeches.
